Dying Conifers - Santa Fe, August 2003
The result of the collaboration between Mayor Delgado/Santa Fe City Council and Las Campanas Limited Partnership that uses over 1 1/4 million gallons of fresh water daily from the the City's Buckman wells to sprinkle irrigate its two private golf courses located outside of the city limits while city residents are restricted in their water use.

This public expenditure of $705,000 would not have been necessary had not Mayor Delgado and the Santa Fe City Council continued to be so slavishly subservient to the demands of Las Campanas Limited Partnership for unrestricted amounts of water to irrigate its two private golf courses located outside the city limits.

Compliments of Mayor Delgado, City Manager Romero and the Santa Fe City Council.
The City not only has stopped watering this park developed recently at great expense but it doesn't even bother to pick up the trash or perform minimal maintenance!
